Also, it’s enormous – perfect for a multi-day backpacking trip, yet comfy enough that you’ll use it for smaller excursions as well. It doesn’t feel enormous.
It offers the benefit of a large, open, internal compartment, and several organizing pockets which are very accessible on the back of the pack. It also includes several other features like a water bladder holder and elastic straps to quickly affix your trekking poles. The only things I miss are a better ice axe loop and maybe a couple webbing loops for clipping random stuff on.
I bought mine for a 3-day, 30-mile trek around the Tetons last year and instantly fell in love. It carried everything I needed comfortably and provided quick access to my gear whenever I wanted. It also weighs a few pounds less than my old expedition pack, which I greatly appreciated!
